Hagley Community College

This project included the restrengthening, seismic upgrade and complete fitout of the existing Block A teaching & administration block and also construction of a new 3 storey classroom block for Hagley Community College. The building contract included all construction, building services and a large siteworks component.

Restrengthening and seismic upgrade work was substantial. The whole of the interior of Block A was gutted, new skin walls constructed to all exterior load bearing walls and new ground and first floor concrete slabs built with new internal shear walls and supporting structure. A completely new and modern fitout followed complete with the capacity to fulfill future information and electronic technology needs.
